Late yesterday, the NRA warned that state Representative Beth McCann (D-8) was planning to introduce this session’s most unconstitutional piece of legislation to date – a bill that would nullify the right to due process for gun owners throughout Colorado.
Hours after our warning and thanks to your immediate and overwhelming opposition to this heinous mental health initiative, Rep. McCann issued a statement that she would no longer be introducing this bill today. This legislation will be re-drafted and we expect to see movement on it in the coming days.
