On June 6, the Benton County Planning Board unfortunately denied, by a 3-4 vote, the Nighthawk Custom Training Academy’s application to expand its shooting facilities.
However, thanks in part to the outpouring of support from the local shooting community, the Benton County Appeal Review Board granted Nighthawk an appeal hearing on July 30.
That hearing was a success, and Nighthawk successfully appealed the denial of its original application!
The Nighthawk Custom Training Academy is a great resource for educational shooting opportunities, competitions and gun enthusiasts throughout the community. We thank all who responded to the call and contacted county officials involved in the process. A special thank you for all those who braved the heat to show up for this hearing!
