TODAY, you can begin purchasing a Lifetime Sportsman's License for a 5 to 21 year old for $500 rather than the normal price of $1,000.
This special price is for a limited time only (Nov. 24th - December 31, 2014).
Governor Rick Scott issued an Executive Order authorizing The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to lower the price for a limited time during the Holidays.
Governor Scott said, “Our state’s natural treasures give families wonderful opportunities for both fishing and hunting from the Panhandle to the Keys. This Lifetime Sportsman’s License will provide Florida’s youth with the opportunity to spend time outdoors with their families. Fishing and hunting are time-honored traditions in our state, and I encourage all Floridians to spend some time enjoying the great outdoors.”
A Lifetime Sportsman’s License allows fishing and hunting in Florida for the rest of the license holder’s life, even if that person is no longer a resident of the state.
To purchase the license online you will need to have your Visa or MasterCard and the child or young adult's full name, date of birth, Florida mailing address and either his/her Social Security number OR the FWC ID number from a previous license OR the youth’s driver’s license number.
Go this address and follow instructions.
