Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Profiled by NRA Life of Duty

Wednesday, December 7, 2011

FAIRFAX, VA – The National Rifle Association’s NRA Life of Duty, presented by Brownells online network, has released the latest Patriot Profile highlighting the valiant deputies of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office on patrol in the Arizona desert. From human trafficking to drugs, increased violence of the cartels to an ever-present national security threat, these dedicated professionals risk their lives each day in one of the busiest points of illegal entry into the United States.

“Interceptors” chronicles the work of a multiagency task force operation to interdict traffickers, the takedown of known cartel members in the suburb of a major metropolitan city, and the manhunt for a dangerous “rip crew” who fired upon officers.

The story will give viewers a front row seat into the truth, trials and tribulations faced by law-enforcement along America’s most violent frontier.  This eye-opening documentary will shock many as they see the reality and severity of the issues not being covered by typical media streams. Beyond all the political posturing and agenda-based rhetoric, these frontline warriors let facts fly with little fear of the consequences of their truths and experiences from the political elite. This story separates facts from feelings and reveals an unfettered perspective of those on the frontlines of this issue.

"Having the NRA and Life of Duty take the time to spend time with us, really listen to our concerns and objectively report what they saw, is refreshing,” said Lt. Matt Thomas. “We watch a lot of opinions in the news on this subject and wonder where the hell these people get their facts or lack of them. It’s encouraging to see that someone wants the truth and that through their online network and magazine, Life of Duty and the NRA American Warrior are willing to share that truth with others.”

Also featured is Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, who is certainly no stranger to many and has developed a reputation for candid answers and an unapologetic quest for the truth and for solutions to the deadly violence that plagues his county. In this documentary, he too shares his views and talks about the brave people who work for him.

This story will remind all Americans of the sacrifices made by those in law enforcement who serve along our southern border and will reveal the threat for our citizens whose voices have barely been heard.
