Volunteers are needed to join and support local shooters in a clean up of the Colfax Shooting Area on Saturday, May 20, from 9:00 AM to 12 noon. Simply bring your rake, enthusiasm for the shooting sports, and desire to strengthen the Second Amendment to help keep open this land that the Bureau of Land Management has set aside for target shooting. From Highway 174, take Rollins Lake Road for 0.2 miles, and make a right on Norton Grade Road. After 0.3 miles, make a right onto Carpenter Road and go through the I-80 underpass. The shooting area will be the first right turn after passing under I-80. For more information, please call (916) 797-1488.
