NRA-ILA will be hosting a special FREE grassroots activism meeting in Martinsburg on October 14th. We are excited to announce that state Senator Craig Blair and Delegate Eric Householder will be joining us! Come to the Holiday Inn from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., for light refreshments and to learn more about how you can influence gun laws by contacting your legislators.
As you know, Governor Tomblin vetoed Senate Bill 347 earlier this year, which would have allowed West Virginia residents to carry a concealed firearm without a permit. Anti-gun extremists like former NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg were able to pressure Governor Tomblin into vetoing this bill. The key to success this upcoming legislative session will be an informed and active pro-gun community!
It's never been more important to establish contact with our elected officials, and on October 14th, we'll discuss how to build relationships with legislators so that we're prepared for the next legislative session. All those who participate will receive complimentary NRA items and light refreshments will be provided!
