U.S. Sen. Timothy M. Kaine commemorated the eighth anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings that left 32 dead with a call for stronger gun laws.
“It’s estimated that 40 percent of all the guns that are sold in the United States occur with no background records check,” said Kaine, D-Va., during an April 16 floor speech.
