Maryland: Second Annual 2A Tuesday Being Held on February 10

On Tuesday, February 10, your NRA-ILA, along with Maryland Shall Issue, the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore, and the Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association, will be holding the second annual "2A Tuesday.”  As a rally and lobby day, “2A Tuesday” is an opportunity for Maryland Second Amendment supporters to meet with their legislators and introduce themselves to the newly elected Delegates and Senators serving their first term in Annapolis.  In the last two years, Maryland citizens have come to Annapolis in record numbers to defend their Second Amendment rights, and it is critical that we continue that trend.

Those present for “2A Tuesday” will be able to listen to presentations and gather information from each of the sponsoring organizations, meet their Delegates and Senators, and make their presence known in the halls of the Maryland General Assembly.  Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrange meetings with their legislators prior to the event.  If you do not know who your legislators are, that information can be found here.

The “2A Tuesday” schedule of events is as follows:

8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Arrive in Annapolis and park at the Navy/Marine Corps Stadium on Rowe Blvd. Shuttle buses run from the stadium parking lot to the General Assembly complex all day.

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Rally at Lawyer’s Mall outside the State House.

12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Meet with legislators in House and Senate office buildings.

Please attend and help defend your Second Amendment rights in Maryland.  Encourage your family, friends and fellow gun owners and sportsmen to do the same.  Your NRA-ILA will continue to keep you updated about this event.
