Effective July 1, 2021, Wyoming's amended permitless carry law takes effect and allows permitless carry by qualified residents and nonresidents of the state. Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 6-2-602(e) reads that “a person who is attacked in any place where the person is lawfully present shall not have a duty to retreat before using reasonable defensive force,” as permitted in that section, provided that the person using that force “is not the initial aggressor and is not engaged in illegal activity.” |
