Who Can Qualify

 The Rhode Island State Police qualify only its own Retirees for LEOSA, who are issued a certificate of qualification.

The Rhode Island Attorney General's Office is responsible for issuance of Concealed Carry Permits. Their number is: 401-274-4400, X2238. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Concealed Carry Permit Section do not regulate or track LEOSA qualifications.

Only the Burrillville Rhode Island Police Department was identified as offering its retirees LEOSA qualification.
