The Rhode Island State Police qualify only its own Retirees for LEOSA, who are issued a certificate of qualification.
The Rhode Island Attorney General's Office is responsible for issuance of Concealed Carry Permits. Their number is: 401-274-4400, X2238. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Concealed Carry Permit Section do not regulate or track LEOSA qualifications.
