Who Can Qualify

Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission Active and Approved Firearms Instructors may conduct qualifications. Contact CJSTC for a list of instructors. Approved Firearms Instructors have cards that are issued to retired/separated LEOs upon qualification.

Several county Police Agencies/Sheriff’s Offices conduct qualification shoots. Retired/separated LEOs should contact their local county retired police associations to determine if LEOSA qualification can be obtained through these organizations.
