Maine: 2018 Legislative Session Convenes Tomorrow

Tomorrow, January 3rd, the 128th Maine Legislature will begin its second year of the 2017-2018 legislative session.  As in 2017, the Legislature can expect to see both pro- and anti-gun agendas this year.  These issues will range from legislation to eliminate locations which are currently prohibited for concealed carry to anti-gun measures aimed at restricting your right to self-defense and firearm ownership.  It is important that gun owners and sportsmen across The Pine Tree State stay actively involved in these issues throughout 2018.

Your NRA-ILA will continue to fight off attacks and advance reforms that promote and protect your Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage.

Your NRA-ILA will keep you updated on the status of important legislation in addition to providing a simple and convenient way to contact elected officials.  To help ensure success in 2018, please continue to check www.NRAILA.org and your email inbox for alerts on the latest action items.
