People would be allowed to carry concealed weapons without a permit outside city limits, under a new law that will be introduced into the Senate State Affairs Committee Friday morning. The bill would also strip elected officials of the right to carry concealed anywhere without a permit.
But proponents of legislation that would more radically change weapon permits view Sen. Marv Hagedorn’s bill as a half-measure.
