Handgun owners in New York can breathe at least a temporary sigh of relief, because two major gun bills that passed the Assembly in April won't be heard any time soon in the Senate. Legislation that would establish mandatory micro stamping of all pistol ammunition a move that essentially makes the ammunition unavailable since no manufacturer could afford to produce it won't get out of committee, according to Sen. Thomas W. Libous, R Binghamton.
