For a lot of Pennsylvanians, teaching kids to hunt has little to do with shooting. Steeped in a hunting tradition that goes back hundreds of years, Pennsylvania offers two separate programs and lots of special seasons designed to teach children about hunting safety and ethics, and gradually get them into the field.
