Please Contact Your State Legislators Today!
Once again, Governor Kathleen Sebelius (D) has vetoed vital legislation that would allow law-abiding Kansans to protect themselves.
House Bill 2528 would prevent cities and counties from adopting any ordinance, resolution, and regulation that would contradict state firearm legislation. HB2528 would also prohibit a public or private entity from prohibiting a licensed Right-to-Carry customer, employee, or invitee from possessing a firearm, when locked inside a private motor vehicle in a publicly accessible parking lot.
Please contact your State Representative and your State Senator at (800) 432-3924 and respectfully urge them to protect your Right-to-Carry by overriding Governor Sebelius’ veto.
