Vermont`s hunting tradition is older than the state itself. Now that tradition is at risk as the number of hunters declines. That is a troubling trend because not only does the state benefit from the tens of millions of dollars hunters spend, but sportsmen and women help manage Vermont`s wildlife populations and maintain a healthier ecosystem.
