1,200 Jail Staff May Be Corrupt

More than 1,200 jail staff may be corrupt, with hundreds involved in "inappropriate relationships" with inmates, according to a leaked report, which follows a year-long probe, concludes that most of the 45,000 prison officers and civilian back-up staff in prisons in England and Wales are honest, but that a significant minority is involved in corrupt practices.
