NRA supported House Bill 184 will soon be voted on in the Senate. If passed, HB 184 will head back to the House for a concurrence vote on Senate amendments. This important legislation will prevent local gun control laws and eliminate the potential for an unfair and inconsistent patchwork of local firearm ordinances across Alaska, while protecting law-abiding citizens from fines and prosecution under the current system.
Please contact your State Representatives and Senators, respectfully asking them to support HB 184 without anti-gun amendments. You can find contact information by using NRA-ILA`s Write Your Representatives feature or by visiting your local Legislative Information Office (LIO) at w3.legis.state.ak.us/legaff/liolist.htm.
The Alaska Legislature adjourns Tuesday, May 10, so please make this call today!
