Michigan - Update on The Dove Hunting Bill!

Wednesday, October 29, 2003

HB 5029, The Michigan Dove Hunting Bill, passed out of committee today without a dissenting vote.

This is just the first step in bringing a mourning dove season to Michigan

We still encourage members to please make plans to join NRA President Kayne Robinson and Board Member Ted Nugent and show your support for a Michigan dove season!  The rally will be held on Tuesday, November 4, at 9:00 A.M. on the Capitol steps in Lansing.

Do not let the anti-hunters decide what you can hunt!  Michigan hunters may finally have the opportunity, as do hunters in 39 other states, for a dove hunting season.

Please be sure to wear an orange hat to the rally to identify yourself as a sportsman.

We hope to see you there.
