A Saginaw Township, Mich., woman was returning home when she
spied a strange man walking toward her house. When she saw him
running up her driveway, the resident quickly tried to close the
door, but the man was pushing his way in and had reached through to
grab her arm. The woman drew a revolver from her purse, pointed it
at the man and told him to "get out or I'll blow you away." The
intruder fled. Township police commended the woman for her actions.
