Raped in her bed while her unsuspecting husband worked outside in the garage, a 62-year-old Fort Worth woman grabbed a handgun and tried to telephone police as the rapist ransacked her home. The phone was dead. When the intruder marched her husband into the kitchen at gunpoint, the woman exchanged shots with the rapist, putting a shot in his head as he wrestled her husband. Seriously injured, the criminal fled and was apprehended by police.
