Three escaped Louisiana convicts who captured 13 hostages
and terorized the countryside were recaptured when they invaded the
isolated home of Leo Martin at Natchitoches, La. Martin, learning
of the escape through television, loaded his six guns and placed one
in each room. When the well-armed convicts burst into his home, he
shot one. The other two surrendered.
