When 77-year-old Mrs. C.C. Talbot, of Shreveport, La., heard someone forcing her screen door at 1:40 a.m. and calling out threats at her, she fired one shot from a .22 caliber rifle. Police later arrested a prowler with a bullet wound in his left arm.
