Two robbers entered Anthony Anello's Kansas City, Kans.,
food store and held up Anello, a clerk, and a customer. After
relieving the victims of $350, the bandits ordered them into a back
room and made them lie on the floor. Cautioning them to stay there
for five minutes, the bandits fled. Anello rose and went to the
front of the store, where he kept a loaded shotgun. Grabbing the
gun, the storekeeper raced out of the front door and saw the men
running up the street. He yelled for them to stop and when one of
the bandits swung around with a pistol in his hand Anello fired.
One bandit fell dead and the other escaped.
