Ohioans who undergo background checks and training could carry concealed weapons under a bill that lawmakers were trying Tuesday to revive and send to Gov. Bob Taft.
The House voted 85-5 on Tuesday to rescind its earlier approval and send the bill back to the joint committee for reworking. Approval of the compromise is expected today, sending it back to both the House and Senate for final consideration as early as this afternoon.
