John Bolton: 2009 Meetings

Bolton talks about patriotism, American exceptionalism, foreign policy and the Second Amendment. The former U.S. ambassador explains to NRA members at the Celebration of American Values Leadership Forum in Phoenix, Arizona that these core principles need attention during the Obama administration lest they be destroyed over the next four years of politics. "Our patriotism rests on the uniqueness of America, on our system of liberty, on our Constitution and on our shared history," he says, specifically noting the Second Amendment as an exceptional American staple that sets this country apart from the rest of the world. As evidenced by Obama's recent apology for American arrogance, Bolton laments that America is facing its first "post-American" president, and he urges NRA members to take action.
