Today, Senate Bill 226, sponsored by state Senator Mike Woodard (D-22), passed unanimously in the House Rules Committee. S 226, which would repeal a 1935 law that allowed firearm registration in Durham County, is expected to be considered on the floor of the North Carolina House of Representatives this week.
Please contact your state Representative and respectfully urge him or her to support S 226. Also, please thank House Rules Committee Chairman Tim Moore and House Speaker Thom Tillis for working so closely with the NRA to advance and pass S 226.
