Today, Senate Bill 226, sponsored by state Senator Mike Woodard (D-22), passed unanimously on its second and third reading in the North Carolina House of Representatives. S 226, which would repeal a 1935 law that allows firearm registration in Durham County, will now be sent to Governor Pat McCrory (R) for his expected signature.
