Yesterday, a public hearing for the conference committee on Senate Bill 229 was held at the Indiana Statehouse. The conference committee report will likely be finalized soon and SB 229 will be sent to the Senate and House floors for a final vote. Please contact your state Senator and Representative IMMEDIATELY and respectfully urge them to vote “YES” on SB 229. With the 2014 session of the Indiana General Assembly likely ending tomorrow, SB 229 will need to be voted on today or tomorrow.
