Today, Senate Bill 150 passed in the Kentucky House Judiciary Committee. Sponsored by state Senator Brandon Smith (R-30), SB 150 is critical to your inherent right to self-defense as it eliminates several discriminatory and arbitrary provisions in Kentucky’s current concealed carry laws that may prevent you from obtaining a Concealed Deadly Weapons License (CDWL).
Specifically, SB 150 would make the following changes to Kentucky’s concealed carry laws:
SB 150 passed in the Senate by an overwhelming 36-1 vote and now goes to the floor of the Kentucky House of Representatives. This year’s abbreviated thirty-day session is closing in on its final days. We need you to call AND e-mail your state Representative TODAY and politely urge him or her to SUPPORT SB 150.
