Earlier this month, Inver Grove Heights Planning Commission met and voted to allow Minnesota Department of Natural Resource sponsored firearm safety programs to be held on an outdoor shooting range at Darvan Acres.  Subsequently, the City Council approved an interim use permit for the site that allows the program to be held for an indefinite period.  However, a final outcome has not been determined and more meetings and debates on the issue are forthcoming.

Please take a moment to contact the City Council and urge them to promote firearms safety by supporting the establishment of firearm safety courses in Inver Grove Heights.  Contact information for council members can be found below.
