Tomorrow, the Arizona House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on House Bill 2457.  If this legislation is passed by the state House it will then be sent to the state Senate for committee assignment and consideration.

Sponsored by state Representative Brenda Barton (R-5), HB 2457 would allow an individual to carry an additional firearm for personal protection while hunting, as long as that firearm is not used for the taking of wildlife.  This bill simply allows hunters the ability to adequately defend themselves from a variety of potential outdoor crimes.

Please contact your state Representative and respectfully urge him or her to support HB 2457.  Contact information for your state Representative can be found here.
