Legislative Document 361, sponsored by State Representative Margaret Craven (D-74), "An Act To Create a Waiting Period for Firearms," was voted to be "indefinitely postponed," which essentially kills the bill for this legislative session.
This legislation would have mandated a 10-day waiting period for certain individuals who purchase firearms in Maine.
Please contact your State Representative at (207) 287-4469 and your State Senator at (207) 287-1540 to thank them for preserving your Second Amendment rights.
