Governor Brian Schweitzer (D) recently signed a budget bill that includes the largest sum of money ever set aside in any state for range development and improvements. With the new budget bill signed, the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) now has a $1 million dollar budget for the Montana Shooting Range Grant Program. This Grant Program was established in 1989 to help private shooting clubs, private organizations, local government, and school districts develop and improve the shooting ranges of Montana.
Please call Governor Schweitzer and thank him for supporting Montana’s shooting. Governor Schweitzer can be reached at (406) 444-3111 or via email by clicking here.
