Nevada Emergency Powers Bill to be Heard Friday!

Assembly Bill 95, introduced by Assemblywoman Valerie Weber (R-05), is slated to be heard before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday, May 11 at 9:00 a.m. in the Legislative Building in Carson City.

It is vital that NRA members contact members of the committee and politely urge them to support this very important measure.  AB95 would restrict government entities from confiscating firearms during a declared state of emergency, such as occurred following Hurricane Katrina.  The committee Chair, State Senator Mark Amodei, is seeking testimony in Carson City and in Las Vegas at the Grant Sawyer Building, Room 4412 for the 9 a.m. hearing.  If you unable to attend, please contact the Senators listed below.
