On Monday, May 21 the LeClair City Council voted unanimously 5 to 0 to approve the sale of city owned land to firearms manufacturer Les Baer Custom, Inc. This is a victory for the town of LeClaire and for the Second Amendment. Les Baer Custom, Inc. will bolster LeClaire’s economy and in return, Les Baer will be able to continue 25 years of manufacturing custom firearms, something that has come under threat in Les Baer’s current home, Illinois, after the legislature proposed a ban on the distribution, sales and manufacture of semi-automatic firearms.
Thanks for all your hard work and effort in contacting the LeClaire City Council.
