On July 18, The Omaha City Council repealed an ordinance that outlaws concealed firearms in the city of Omaha.
The 5-2 vote brings Omaha in line with the state’s Right-to-Carry law, that was passed earlier this year. Mayor Mike Fahey (D) plans to veto the measure, but with five of the seven council members favoring the repeal, there are enough votes for a veto override.
Congratulations to all NRA members who took the time to contact their City Council members and encourage them to support the personal protection rights of the citizens of Omaha!
