Senate Bill 5083 is now on Governor Locke`s desk awaiting action. SB 5083 is the "Reciprocity" bill by which Washington would recognize "Right-to-Carry" permits from states which recognize Washington concealed pistol licenses. This bill is the first step in getting more states to recognize Washington licenses. Governor Locke could take action on SB 5083 at any time. Please contact his office at 360/902-4111 and politely urge that he sign this bill into law. Point out that SB 5083 passed both the Senate and House with overwhelming bipartisan votes. Pass this on to your friends and family members and ask that they contact the Governor`s office as well.
