Farmers always have worked the land to provide food, while indirectly providing habitat for game and nongame species. This has allowed hunters many hours of recreation and the opportunities to harvest deer. These same deer at times can be a nuisance to the farmer trying to grow crops.
For the past several years the Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry program has been operating in Ohio and Muskingum County.
