The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released a plan to guide management of the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge for the next 15 years.
The 51,000 acre Refuge is comprised of three separate units that run along 65 miles of the Tennessee River in Henry,
The Service is accepting public comments until July 7th and comments may be emailed to [email protected]. For further information you may call 731-432-0981. It is important to the future of hunting in the Refuge that hunters comment on this draft plan. You can be assured that anti-hunters and animal rights activists will file comments urging the Service to reduce or eliminate hunting in the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge.
