Assembly Bill 821 has been scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Natural Resources Committee on Tuesday, June 26.
AB 821 would ban the use of lead ammunition for hunting in various hunting zones around the state that incorporate condor range. A lead ammunition ban will greatly affect our hunting heritage in California.
On Wednesday, May 30, the California Department of Fish and Game sent a letter of dissent to the bill’s sponsor, Assembly Member Pedro Nava (D-35). Click here to read the letter from the California Department of Fish and Game Opposing AB 821.
Please contact the members of the Senate Natural Resources Committee today and respectfully urge them to protect California’s rich hunting tradition by opposing AB821.
