House Bill 2505, introduced by Delegate James Shuler, will allow the use of float blinds west of Interstate I-95, if no permanent blinds are present. Currently the public waters west of I-95 are treated differently than the rest of the state. Passage of this legislation will open some of the major waterways in Virginia to hunting. The bill is currently in the House Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources committee.
