Michigan: Right-to-Carry permits on the rise
More and more people across Michigan are carrying weapons. Clerks are reporting a huge jump in concealed weapons applications across the state.
In 2001, Michigan passed a law making it easier to carry a concealed weapon and the numbers have been rapidly growing.
Between 2007 and 2008, 26,500 people applied for a concealed weapons permit, in 2009 that jumped to 66,500.
