Thank You For Your Support of HB588 This Legislative Session!

This week, Governor Bill Richardson (D) signed into law House Bill 588.  Sponsored by State Representative John Heaton (D-Carlsbad), this NRA-backed legislation will allow Concealed Handgun License holders to protect themselves in establishments that sell alcohol for off-premises consumption.  This law will take effect on July 1, 2007.
