Virginia: Right-to-Carry Reform Measure to be heard before House Committee!

Monday, February 08, 2010

Please Contact the Members of the House Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee

On Tuesday, February 9 at 7:00am the House Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee will hold a hearing on House Bill 505, sponsored by Delegate Todd Gilbert (R-15).

House Bill 505 would allow a concealed carry permit holder to carry his or her firearm into a restaurant, provided he or she does not consume any alcohol.  This bill is similar to last year’s bill that was passed by both the House and Senate Chambers and ultimately vetoed by Governor Tim Kaine (D).

Please contact the members of the Committee and respectfully encourage them to SUPPORT House Bill 505.
