Emergency Powers Bill Slated for Hearing in Nebraska!

Friday, February 15, 2008

Please Contact the Members of the Judiciary Committee and Urge Them to Support LB1076!

On Thursday, February 21, the Judiciary Committee will hear LB1076, introduced by State Senator Kent Rogert (District 16).  LB1076 will prevent restrictions by the state on the legal possession, transfer, sale, transport, storage, display, or use of firearms and ammunition.

Simply stated, LB 1076 will prevent government authorities from confiscating firearms from law-abiding citizens, such as occurred in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Please contact the members of the Judiciary Committee and respectfully urge them to support your Second Amendment rights and rights to self-defense during a declared state of emergency.
