Recently, the Abington Heights School District eliminated the rifle team from the Abington Heights High School because of cost restraints.  The School Board did not give any prior notice or allow the public and the team’s members the opportunity to voice their concerns and support for the program.

Please contact the Superintendent of Schools, Michael Mahon at (570) 585-8251 and respectfully urge him to reconsider the decision to eliminate the Abington Heights High School Rifle Team by allowing open, public discussion on the issue.
