Non-Partisan Voter Registration Drive To Commence In Louisville

In addition to the myriad other activities that will occur next week during NRA’s Annual Meetings in Louisville, NRA-ILA’s Grassroots Division will be kicking off the Association's largest voter registration drive ever.

Stationed in the foyer of the Kentucky Exposition Center will be three brand-new, interactive voter registration kiosks.  These kiosks that will be manned daily by NRA-ILA staff while the Exhibit Hall is open, will allow pro-gun voters from all partisan stripes to update their voter registration status or register for the first time.  Visitors to the kiosks will be able to complete and print an on-line voter registration application that they may sign on the spot, or fill out actual hard copy versions of their state’s application that will be provided by ILA staff.

All are welcome to take advantage of this non-partisan, civic service.

A film made by the IRS to explain the workings of the 1968 Gun Control Act was withdrawn from public viewing after encountering brisk opposition. The Washington Post termed the film "a sexy and violent movie," while NRA addressed its specific criticisms in a letter to one G. Gordon Liddy, Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury.
