NRA Letter To Attorney General Gonzales Opposing Justice Department Proposal

Last week, the U.S. Department of Justice sent a legislative proposal, along with a letter of support, to Congressional leaders. The legislative proposal would allow this - or any future - Attorney General to deny a firearm purchase to individuals on terrorist "watch lists" without due process of law. Senator Frank Lautenberg has already introduced the legislation. Below you will find a letter from NRA to the Attorney General expressing our opposition.
